Optimism:The Golden Treasure of Life!

I’m an optimist and I love it! I have come to realize, to my surprise however, this is not the norm. People just aren’t happy and some of them even criticize a person if they are “too happy”.  I’ve literally experienced people telling me you are “too happy” is that even possible?

I just have to share with the ReCoded family today that optimism has become so rare that if you are equipped with this mental attitude I’m officially deeming it as “The Golden Treasure of Life”!  This is so exciting because positivity allows for the enjoyment and embodiment of the full human experience.  I want to encourage everyone to live happy! You are empowered to do so. Everyday won’t be a perfect day, but everyday  is what you choose to make of it.  Cheers to optimism! The short snippet below is a great read.

Today’s Recoded Message: ReCode from Pessimism to Optimism.

“People who are too optimistic seem annoying. This is an unfortunate misinterpretation of what an optimist really is.

An optimist is neither naive, nor blind to the facts, nor in denial of grim reality. An optimist believes in the optimal usage of all options available, no matter how limited. As such, an optimist always sees the big picture. How else to keep track of all that’s out there? An optimist is simply a proactive realist.

An idealist focuses only on the best aspects of all things (sometimes in detriment to reality); an optimist strives to find an effective solution. A pessimist sees limited or no choices in dark times; an optimist makes choices.

When bobbing for apples, an idealist endlessly reaches for the best apple, a pessimist settles for the first one within reach, while an optimist drains the barrel, fishes out all the apples and makes pie.
Annoying? Yes. But, oh-so tasty!”
